The program provides our kids with safe and
productive hands-on volunteer opportunities to help others in our local and
global communities.
What better way to bring Tikkun olom - repairing the
world - then to offer opportunities for
kids and their families to do mitzvot (good deeds) together.
Volunteering in a Jewish way is something that kids can
really appreciate - they may not have money to donate, but they do have time and
energy, and when they see a way to put it to good use, they really want to do
it.
There are mitzvot about foods, holidays and prayers, kindness and
cleanliness, honesty, how to treat other people and lots more. Doing God's mitzvot will not only make better people, but will also make the
world a better place.
Our
CBI Kids Care Club will be doing monthly volunteering projects
